This Month’s

Community Partner

The Deschutes River Alliance works to protect the health, vitality, and natural beauty of the lower Deschutes River, ensuring its sustainability for future generations. As a science-based advocacy non-profit, the DRA seeks collaborative solutions to the environmental threats facing this iconic waterway, operating on the belief that a healthy ecosystem, a sustainable economy, and a vibrant community flow together.

Through rigorous scientific research, habitat revitalization, and passionate advocacy, they work tirelessly to secure colder, cleaner water and recover robust populations of resident and migratory fish. By uniting anglers, scientists, and local communities throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, the DRA fosters awareness and creates a lasting legacy of conservation along the river’s shimmering currents. Oregonians value pristine waterways, open landscapes, and strong community connections—just like they do.

A portion of proceeds from Lange’s Flyline Society allow the Deschutes River Alliance to continue their vital, data-driven support and advocate for the ongoing ecological integrity of this remarkable, wild, and scenic river.

Some of our most popular wines from last month’s shipment.

Bottle of Lange 2023 Pinot Gris Classique

2023 Pinot Gris
Classique

93 Points | Decanter

“An excellent Pinot Gris made in a serious fashion. Alluring aromas of sweet florals, green mangoes, and spicy dried herbs. The palate is long and seriously textured, showing honeyed nectarine flesh, apricot skin, and toasted almond skin with a profound capacity to mature.” — Clive Pursehouse

2023 Pinot Noir
Reserve

94 Points | IWR

“The 2023 Reserve Pinot Noir is a beautifully expressive wine. The nose is vibrant and refined, revealing aromas of wild strawberries, mountain blueberries, crushed rose petals, steeped hibiscus, and damp forest floor, accented by hints of white pepper and dried thyme. On the palate, this Pinot Noir unfolds with a graceful texture, balancing its supple tannins with bright acidity. Layers of red currant, black raspberry, and blood orange zest mingle with undertones of earthy minerality and a delicate saline edge. The wine’s seamless structure and refined tension create a compelling drinking experience, finishing with elegance and length. 2025–2035.” —Jeremy Young

2023 Pinot Noir
Classique

93 Points | Decanter

“Tart and piquant aromatics of fresh cranberry relish, salty sea air and spicy blood orange pulp leap out. This wine has ample fruit but offers a linearity and complexity that has it punching way above its price point. The palate offers a saline mineral streak that frames turned earth. hints of forest floor and exuberant spiced red fruits. This vintage, the Pinot Noirs, are some of the best I’ve ever made; picking on balance was critical, says Jesse Lange. It was a breezy growing season, so the wines were set up for greatness. It was a ripe vintage, so picking on balance was key. Freedom Hill comprises 80% of this wine.” — Clive Pursehouse

Is there a fee to join?

No! You only pay for the wines you receive plus the $15 flat rate shipping, and any tax that applies, depending on your state.

What's your shipping policy?

Our default shipping method is FedEx Ground. During the summer months, we ship using FedEx’s Cold Chain to ensure that your wines arrive in perfect condition.

Federal law requires an adult signature of someone 21 years or older at the time of delivery. For ease of delivery, we highly recommend shipping to a business address. We are unable to ship to PO boxes.

FedEx will make 3 delivery attempts, If all 3 attempts are unsuccessful, FedEx will then hold your package for 5 business days at one of their hubs. It will then be your responsibility to pick up the wines. After 5 days, the package will be returned to us. Fly Line Society members are responsible for additional shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments. A redirect fee may be applied if an address is changed en route, and a re-shipping fee applies when we re-ship your package.

When are Flyline shipments sent?

Flyline orders ship in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

How will I be notified about upcoming shipments?

One to two weeks before each scheduled shipment, you will receive a pre-shipment notification by email providing you with the information of the approximate date that you can expect your wines to ship. The email will prompt you to make any changes to your desired selections, update any account information, and will notify you of the date we’ll bill your credit card and ship your wines.

If you want to place additional orders outside of your scheduled shipments, simply log in and your 10% discount will be applied automatically.

Is it possible to add to my shipment?

Yes! Simply log in to your portal to add wines to your current shipment. You can purchase up to a case (12 bottles) each time and your shipping fee will still be $15.

How do I skip a shipment or place my subscription on hold?

Your Flyline subscription may be paused at any time. Simply reply to your reminder email and we’ll skip that shipment! Pick up where you left off, when you’re ready.

How do I cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your subscription, we kindly ask that you receive the welcome shipment and 1 consecutive Flyline shipment before cancelling, which can be done with advance notice. Please note that we cannot cancel your subscription once a shipment is in process.
