This Month’s

Community Partner

Friends of Family Farmers supports Oregon’s small to mid-sized farmers and ranchers through programs and policies that protect, promote, and sustain sustainable local food systems across the state. We believe that when local farms thrive, so do the communities that depend on them.

For 20 years, we’ve been helping Oregon’s independent farmers grow success through hands-on support, community building, and advocacy.

Our Oregon Farm Link program helps new and expanding farmers access land and community resources. The Oregon Pasture Network supports ranchers raising animals on pasture, providing education and tools to expand access to pasture-raised, humanely produced meat, dairy, and eggs. And through farmer-led advocacy, we protect Oregon’s farmland, clean water, and the livelihoods of those who feed us. Oregonians value fresh, local food, open landscapes, and strong community connections – just like we do.

Proceeds from Lange’s Flyline Society allow us to provide meaningful support and advocate for the ongoing vitality of independent farmers and ranchers across our bountiful state. Farm on!

Some of our most popular wines from last month’s shipment.

2023 Pinot Gris
Classique

93 Points | Decanter

“An excellent Pinot Gris made in a serious fashion. Alluring aromas of sweet florals, green mangoes, and spicy dried herbs. The palate is long and seriously textured, showing honeyed nectarine flesh, apricot skin, and toasted almond skin with a profound capacity to mature.” — Clive Pursehouse

2022 Pinot Noir
Reserve

92 Points ‘Editor’s Choice’ | Wine Enthusiast 93 Points | Decanter

“A rich blackberry aroma forms a blissful union with a meaty note similar to a seared steak rubbed with paprika. The wine’s dark raspberry and dark chocolate flavors are pierced by a burst of blood orange juice and searing acidity. The texture of the wine is as silky as its tannins.”— Michael Alberty

2023 Pinot Noir
Classique

93 Points | Decanter

“Tart and piquant aromatics of fresh cranberry relish, salty sea air and spicy blood orange pulp leap out. This wine has ample fruit but offers a linearity and complexity that has it punching way above its price point. The palate offers a saline mineral streak that frames turned earth. hints of forest floor and exuberant spiced red fruits. This vintage, the Pinot Noirs, are some of the best I’ve ever made; picking on balance was critical, says Jesse Lange. It was a breezy growing season, so the wines were set up for greatness. It was a ripe vintage, so picking on balance was key. Freedom Hill comprises 80% of this wine.” — Clive Pursehouse

Is there a fee to join?

No! You only pay for the wines you receive plus the $5 flat rate shipping, and any tax that applies, depending on your state.

Your welcome shipment will be automatically processed and shipped when you sign up. The Flyline welcome shipment includes 2 of our Classique wines and 2 of our Flyline logo’d stemless glasses ($55 including shipping).

What's your shipping policy?

Our default shipping method is FedEx Ground. During the summer months, we ship using FedEx’s Cold Chain to ensure that your wines arrive in perfect condition.

Federal law requires an adult signature of someone 21 years or older at the time of delivery. For ease of delivery, we highly recommend shipping to a business address. We are unable to ship to PO boxes.

FedEx will make 3 delivery attempts, If all 3 attempts are unsuccessful, FedEx will then hold your package for 5 business days at one of their hubs. It will then be your responsibility to pick up the wines. After 5 days, the package will be returned to us. Fly Line Society members are responsible for additional shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments. A redirect fee may be applied if an address is changed en route, and a re-shipping fee applies when we re-ship your package.

When are Flyline shipments sent?

Flyline orders ship in February, April, June, August, October, and December.

How will I be notified about upcoming shipments?

One to two weeks before each scheduled shipment, you will receive a pre-shipment notification by email providing you with the information of the approximate date that you can expect your wines to ship. The email will prompt you to make any changes to your desired selections, update any account information, and will notify you of the date we’ll bill your credit card and ship your wines.

If you want to place additional orders outside of your scheduled shipments, simply log in and your 5% discount will be applied automatically.

Is it possible to add to my shipment?

Yes! Simply log in to your portal to add wines to your current shipment. You can purchase up to a case (12 bottles) each time and your shipping fee will still be $5.

How do I skip a shipment or place my subscription on hold?

Your Flyline subscription may be paused at any time. Simply reply to your reminder email and we’ll skip that shipment! Pick up where you left off, when you’re ready.

How do I cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your subscription, we kindly ask that you receive the welcome shipment and 1 consecutive Flyline shipment before cancelling, which can be done with advance notice. Please note that we cannot cancel your subscription once a shipment is in process.
