Lange Estate Winery ships via UPS. UPS will not deliver to PO boxes, so a physical address is required for delivery. Delivery of alcoholic beverages requires the signature of someone 21+ years of age; for this reason, we recommend shipping to a business address if no one 21+ will be present at your residence to sign for wine packages.

Please call us at (503) 538-6476 x1 if there are any issues with the successful delivery of your package. We can assist with delivery intercepts for an additional charge. You can also manage your UPS deliveries on your own by signing up for UPS MyChoice.

Some states do have an “onsite” sales exception, meaning a limited amount of wine can be shipped directly to you only if you order the wine in person at the winery. For this reason, we cannot accept online/phone orders to these states. If you have any questions about why we cannot ship to your state, please call us at (503) 538-6476 x1.

We currently do not ship wine outside of the United States.

UPS Ground transit times vary between 1 and 7 business days, depending on destination. For example, a shipment from Dundee, OR to Seattle, WA usually takes one business day, while a shipment from Dundee, OR to New York, NY usually takes a full seven business days.

UPS 3-Day Select service transit time is three business days. Example: if the wine ships on Monday, it should arrive to you on Thursday. We do not recommend 3-Day Select for destinations where it would arrive within three days via regular Ground service.

UPS 2nd Day Air service transit time is two business days. Example: if the wine ships on Monday, it should arrive to you on Wednesday. We do not recommend 2nd Day Air for destinations where it would arrive within two days via regular Ground service.

UPS Overnight service transit time is one business day. Example: if the wine ships on Monday, it should arrive to you on Tuesday.

Wine shipments typically leave the winery on Mondays or Tuesdays, to eliminate the incidence of your package being held somewhere over a weekend (especially important during weather events). We may ship any time of the week, however, at our discretion or your request.

Severe weather can compromise wine. We keep a close eye on national forecasts to ensure we ship your wine in the best conditions possible. We may issue shipping advisories during the summer and winter months and may hold your wine shipment due to temperatures that are too hot or cold. The decision to ship wine at any time is ultimately yours, but we will not guarantee or replace wine that is weather-damaged once we’ve issued an advisory and informed you of the risk of shipping during inclement weather.

Expedited shipping services such as 3-Day Select and 2nd Day Air are sometimes safer options for shipping during inclement weather, as the wine is not in transit as long and does not spend as much time on Northern U.S. railways as Ground shipments do.

In order to keep our legal ability to ship wine to you, some states require we pay sales taxes (state, county, and/or local) on wine shipments. At this time, shipments to Virginia incur a 5.25% sales tax. Shipments to Texas incur a 6.5% sales tax. Shipments to Nevada incur a 7.5% sales tax. Shipments to Wisconsin incur a 5.5% sales tax.

ALL WINES ARE SOLD IN OREGON AND TITLE PASSES TO THE BUYER IN OREGON. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import alcoholic beverages into any state outside of Oregon. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order with your credit card, you authorize Lange Estate Winery to act on your behalf in processing and shipping the order. Wines may be sold and delivered only to those who are at least 21 years old. By placing your order, you agree that you are at least 21 years old and the person who will accept delivery is at least 21 years old. When your alcoholic beverages are delivered, the person receiving will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
