Wendy Lange | Owner & CEO
Hailing from Connecticut, Wendy moved west to pursue her studies in Literature and Ballet. While still at UC Santa Barbara and working at various wineries in the area, the pull of the Pacific NW in general and Pinot Noir in particular began to shift her focus away from academia and toward winemaking and winegrowing.
Pulling up stakes in 1987, Wendy and Don joined the sparse ranks of the early pioneers and founded their eponymous winery and vineyard in Oregon’s Dundee Hills. Since that time, they have been crafting their premium varietal wines and marketing them in key U.S. locations and abroad.
Wendy oversees daily accounting and business operations, compliance, human resources, hospitality and marketing. She enjoys cooking with fresh ingredients sourced from the family’s estate gardens and flock of chickens in addition to tending to her lively and outspoken herd of Shelties.
