2010 Pinot Noir “Lange Estate Vineyard”

92 Points - Wine Spectator
"Fresh and open-textured, pulsing with currant, licorice and wet earth flavors, hinting at plum pudding spices as the finish lingers expressively on a supple frame."
91 points – Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar
“Vivid red. Sexy, floral aromas of red berry preserves, incense and star anise. Bright and nervy on entry, then fleshier in the middle, offering vibrant raspberry and cherry flavors and a touch of bitter herbs. Shows impressive intensity and focus on the finish, which features suave floral pastille and spicecake qualities.”

2009 Pinot Noir “Lange Estate Vineyard”

92 Points - The Wine Advocate
"Vanilla, pistachio oil, cardamom, cinnamon, and cocoa powder add allure on an expansive, silken-textured palate, while in a long finish iodine and saline-sweet savor akin to lobster shell reduction stimulate the salivary glands as well as the desire for the next sip. I imagine this beauty will be worth watching for 6-8 years, but don’t miss out on some now"
92 Points - Wine & Spirits Magazine
“Dark and smoky, this reveals classic Dundee scents with air: red fruit dusted with minerals. The ripe red plum flavor is guided by velvet-smooth tannins and snappy acidity, giving length without grip. A finely wrought red for roast duck.”
90 Points - Wine Spectator
"Light and elegant, with sandy tannins around a supple core of cinnamon-accented cherry and mineral flavors, persisting impressively on the expressive finish."

2010 Pinot Noir “Freedom Hill Vineyard”

91 points – Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
“Bright ruby-red. Intense, spice-accented aromas of black raspberry, cherry-cola and violet, with a hint of licorice in the background. Fleshy but focused, offering lively red and dark berry flavors and a seamless texture. Gentle tannins come on late and add shape to the bright, spicy, very persistent finish. With its suave blend of power and finesse, this should be a good cellar candidate.”

2009 Pinot Noir “Freedom Hill Vineyard”

93 Points - Wine & Spirits Magazine
“This dark and brooding pinot smells massive, with rich plum and tar scents suggesting a big-boned wine. So it’s a great pleasure to encounter such nimble movement on the palate: The flavors are dark and blue, but focused. The tannins are gripping, but they give off a leafy savor that suggests pairing with a wild mushroom pasta.”
90 Points- Wine Spectator
“Light and fragile, with pretty red berry and tomato flavors that lilt on the expressive finish.”
90 Points- Wine Enthusiast
"Blossoming into a full-bodied, flavorful wine with a broad array of mixed black fruits. Hints of leaf and herb are nicely styled and not intrusive."

2010 Pinot Noir “Three Hills Cuvee”

90 points – Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
“Vivid red. Fresh red berries and flowers on the fragrant nose and in the mouth. Juicy and light on its feet, picking up cola and anise nuances with air. Finishes smooth and gently sweet, with very good clarity and length.”

2009 Pinot Noir “Three Hills Cuvee”

91 Points - Wine & Spirits Magazine
“A heady pinot noir with earthy aromas of red raspberry, sassafras and beef bone, this wine’s flavors are generous and poised at once. Seductive in its richness, this has an earthy nest of tannins marking the finish.”
90 Points- Wine Spectator
"Light and velvety, with dark berry and a hint of plum in the flavor mix, weaving in a touch of wet earth as the finish lingers against crisp tannins."

2010 Pinot Noir “Reserve”

90 Points- Wine Enthusiast
"Lange’s reserve has a resonant, spicy depth that elevates it above the well-made regular bottling. Tight and showing medium concentration, it shows a herb accent, with earthy tannins framing the tart cherry fruit. A hint of coconut marks the finish."
90 Points- Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
“Vivid red. Cherry-cola, boysenberry and vanilla on the intensely perfumed nose and in the mouth. Shows impressive energy and a pliant, supple texture, with slow-building spiciness and a touch of candied licorice. Finishes sweet and long, with gentle tannic grip and good clarity.”
Value Pick- Oregon Wine Press prime Pinots
"Balance and elegance best describe a youthful wine exhibiting cola and cherry notes on the nose followed by a harmonious mélange of ripe dark fruit, peppery spice and velvety tannins."

2010 Pinot Noir “Willamette Valley”

91 Points &"Smart Buys"- Wine Spectator
“Smooth and eloquent, delivering a lovely cascade of polished plum, currant and cranberry, shaded with cream and herb as the finish lingers easily. Offers depth and transparency.”
92 points & "Best Buy"– Wine & Spirits
"This is dark and ripe with plenty of color and concentration, especially for a 2010. There are forest floor scents and plum jam flavors in a subtle contrast, the elements coming together with remarkable textural persistence, the finish penetrating and satisfying at once. It has the heft for wild salmon."

2011 Pinot Gris “Reserve”

90 Points- Wine & Spirits Magazine
"This leesy white pulls off a mélange of lemon and apple scents, the interchange keeping its juicy flavors lean and fresh. Ideal for an aperitif, or with chicken sausages."
90 Points- Wine Enthusiast
"Aged in neutral French oak, this Pinot Gris retains a lively, palate-cleansing acidity. It’s consistent in style and flavor with the regular bottling, but this has added depth and richness. Fruit flavors of sweet Macintosh apples give it a pretty finish."
91 Points- Snooth.com
Snooth Drink Better Wine“Wonderfully fragrant on the nose with bright notes of pollen, lemon blossom, lemon and a touch of sandy soil. In the mouth, this is just off dry with big acids lending a succulence to what is a lush but not weighty wine. The fruit starts out with an almost grapefruit character due to the high acids, all layered over a mineral base with excellent length and great purity of fruit. The back end sees a bit of orchard fruit popping up along with a hint of lemon oil, all held together with excellent tension and real river stone freshness on the moderately long finish.” -Gregory Dal Piaz

2010 Chardonnay “Three Hills Cuvee”

92 Points- Wine & Spirits Magazine
"Leading with scents of ripe pear and toffee, ’this wine’s intriguing mélange of fruit flavors crosses juicy apple with lemon lime. A touch of salinity delineates a citrusy finish. The tanginess may remind you of Chablis."
92 Points- Snooth.com
Snooth Drink Better Wine“Intense and fresh on the nose, this explodes with fresh citrus notes, kiwi peel, salty mineral elements and lovely Asian pear and acacia aromas all topped with gentle toasty spice. Reticent on entry, this is rather laid back early on with vivid acids that slowly lift up the fine, pure fruit. Shows grapefruit, melon and pear fruit, maybe a hint of guava as well. This is just a touch creamy, with a nice accent of wood spice that helps transition to the finish. Very long finish. This is elegant and refined, another wine easy lose in a crowd, but one that really rewards examination.”

2010 Chardonnay “Willamette Valley”

88 Points- Wine Spectator
"Crisp, with pretty pear and floral flavors that linger on the lively, open-textured finish."
90 Points - Snooth.com
Snooth Drink Better Wine“Clean and fresh on the nose with almond lotion tones under crisp pear and lime fruit. This is lightweight and fresh on the palate with a finely integrated yet zesty vein of acidity. The flavors run to the crisp, white orchard fruit end of the spectrum- white peaches and pear topped with citrus notes. This turns just a little rounded on the back end but never gains any unnecessary weight. The finish is pure and crisp with more white orchard fruit tones over river stone minerality.”
88 Points- Wine Enthusiast
"Fresh and spicy, this tart young Chard has a streak of wintergreen mint. Aged in a mix of stainless steel and neutral French oak, it’s an excellent seafood wine.
